Friday, June 1.

Earlier in the week, we met a Googler at the shuttle stop and she told us that Charlie's cafe has really good waffles for breakfast. Today is the day that we decided we would try them. Unfortunately, Charlie's doesn't serve waffles on fridays :( but we were still happy with all of the fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, breakfast burritos, juice, and more!

Every Friday we have a special EP class. This Friday it was about protocol buffers - pretty neat stuff! The teacher was very outgoing, and we got to work with the people who we were sitting next to, so it was a good class overall. After class we all went to eat as a group at Charlie's for lunch. Delicious.

After a week packed full of learning and a feeling of being overwhelmed, we all just wanted to relax. I think Brenda went out with some friends, so Lucy, Ishwarya and I decided that we needed to buy food for the weekend (since we didn't plan on going to Google on the weekend). Our solution: take a drive to Target. I love Target! We literally went down every single aisle, putting whatever food items our little hearts desired into the cart. Coincidentally, we also ran into Kojo at Target. I guess its just the cool place to be on a Friday night. lol 


After our shopping extravaganza, we hung out at our apartment and watched a movie from Netflix called Kick Ass - a movie about an ordinary kid who becomes a "super hero" (it was kinda weird). Not a very interesting night, but it was great getting to hang out with my roommates. :)
