Google Style BBQ!

Tuesday, June 3.

To celebrate the 4th of July, Google held a Barbecue for all of its employees. Of course the BBQ was huge and awesome! Michele and I were putting in some work and we decided to walk over to the BBQ around noon. As we arrived onto main campus, we saw many happy Googlers. 


People were playing volleyball.

There were hopping pony races.

Lots of carnival games.

Ishy and I tried to play this game called Crazy Driver where you try to steer a golf ball into a hole. It is harder than it looks. Ishy really wanted one of the stuffed animal prized, but we weren't good enough to beat it. :( lol

The next thing we saw was a bunch of baskets that had candy for people to grab. I thought they were decorated really cute!

Since it is a BBQ, we were ready to find some delicious food. Since there was so many people there, the lines were sooooo long! We waited in line for like half an hour, but we passed the time by taking pictures. lol

Finally food!!

Once we got our food, we found a table inside Charlie's cafe, and dug into our yummy food. We chatted for a bit and then I had to meet Bonny, another Googler. I met Bonny inside Slice Cafe. We grabbed some more food, and sat at a table next to the pie eating contest! I've known Bonny since CSSI in 2010, so it was great getting to catch up with her. We also couldn't resist getting some froyo!

I spent Tuesday night packing and hanging out with Brenda and Lucy. Brenda and I made dinner since Google wasn't serving any today, and we had extra ingredients from our Sunday night dinner.

Then we waited for Lucy to get home so we could all share a cupcake. <3
