Monday = Thursday

Monday, July 2.

Because Google is awesome, they gave their employees Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off of work.   5 day weekend! Wahoo! All I had to do was get through Monday and Tuesday.

Brenda, Ishy, and I drove to work together and Lucy and Jenny went together. We all met for breakfast at Plymouth cafe. Plymouth has really good omelets and that day there was banana pancakes!
I was pretty busy with work most of the day. At lunch, our team walked to Root Cafe. It was a really nice day, so we sat at a table outside. The food was really good! I ate shrimp, fruit, and some delicious cookies.

When we got back to work, my friend Michele (a past EP intern and now full-time Googler on my team) and I were getting a bit anxious for the long weekend.
We are a bit nuts lol
Also its worth noting that there are some days where I don't feel like sitting in a normal desk chair! Today was one of them. hehe
Over the weekend, Lucy and Jenny went to the mall and told us that there was a big sale at Coach. "Everything was so cheap, it was practically free." There was no way that we could resist a sale like that. lol The plan was to drive to the mall after. Dinner was at 7pm at Crave cafe. I met Ishy and Jarvis there and we waited for Brenda, Lucy, and Ramya. We left Crave at around 8pm, and Brenda, Lucy, and Ramya still needed to get their stuff from their cubes. I dropped Brenda by building 1950 then went to drop off Lucy and Ramya by building 41. We had to be quick because the mall closed at 9pm. I went back for Brenda and then back for Lucy and Ramya, and we were finally on our way to the mall. I made it there pretty fast - only 12 minutes. We got to Coach at around 8:30pm so we still had time to shop! :) I was really excited for Brenda because this was gonna be her first Coach purchase!
Yay, Coach!
I bought a silver clutch purse and Brenda, and Ishy also bought some things. When we got back to the apartment we realized that we all love Coach and were happy with our purchases! :D
