You Call It Boring, I Call It Relaxing

Saturday, June 30 - Sunday, July 1.

Saturday.
I woke up late and it was really quiet. All of my roommates were gone. :( Lucy went to SF with her sister Jenny, Brenda went to SF for a Giants baseball game, and Ishy went to LA with her family. I ate a hotpocket for lunch and then I started to blog. After a while I got bored and decided that I should clean up the apartment. When I was finished I sent a message to Ramya to see what she was up to. Since we both weren't doing anything we decided to get ready to go to the mall! At around 5pm Ramya and Xunjie came over and we took off to the Great Mall. The first thing we did was grab some food at the food court and then we proceeded to go to Forever 21. I think everyone loves that store! lol   We walked around for a bit and in the end I bought some shoes, a shirt, and a cardigan. Wahoo!
We look like an ice cream cone! hehe
At some point during our shopping adventure, we mentioned bagel bites. Xunjie didn't know what they were, so we decided that after shopping we were going to eat bagel bites and watch a movie. And so that's what happened. We went to Safeway to buy the bagel bites and then we went back to my apartment. We munched on bagel bites and watched Pirates of the Caribbean. :)
Sunday.
Sundays are usually roommie dinner nights, and today was no different. The plan was to have Breakfast For Dinner!
As you can see from our little white board, only Brenda and I were able to go to our dinner night. We were sad, but we didn't want to cancel it. AND we still had fun. :) I waited until about 4pm for Brenda to get back from church. Then we both changed so that we could go to Safeway to buy everything necessary to make our dinner. We thought it would be awesome if we matched, so we took some photos. lol I <3 Brenda!
Cute indeed! ;)
Safeway was productive. We bought bread, syrup, eggs, apples, and bananas. Now it was just time to make the french toast, cook the eggs, and cut up the fruit! Inspired by a breakfast sandwich we ate a Google one day, we brought out some cheese and an avocado to make our own breakfast sandwiches (toast, eggs, avocado, cheese) to go along with the french toast. As we were making all the food, Brenda's friend, Eric, came by and helped us by making the eggs. Oh, and he also helped us eat some of the food, because we ended up making way too much!
Breakfast for Dinner! YUM!

After a hard 5 weeks of work, it was nice to have a weekend where I had the chance to relax.
